Jake and Joe set up their own ride

“Cancer research is an important cause for us, and we wanted to raise money for Obliteride in our own way,” say 13-year-old twins Jake and Joe. As part of their b’nai mitzvah, they set up a ride for friends and family and raised nearly $60,000 for prevention, treatment, and cures.

Rainee’s family took Obliteride on the road

Together, Rainee and her family chose a 5K walking route along the coast of Maine and invited a dozen East Coast relatives to join. “We all had a BLAST!” she says. “The six kids especially loved being part of such a great event and cause.”

Riding in Italy was a great way to keep momentum, see the countryside, and raise funding for a great cause.

Your impact

Every dollar fuels groundbreaking science

100% of participant-raised dollars support Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. We are funding some of the brightest minds in the world who are relentless in their pursuit to prevent, treat, and cure cancer and other diseases. And we’re just getting started.

Meet your inner fundraiser

You? Fundraise? You bet!

Last year, thousands of people just like you raised millions of dollars, one donation at a time, to fuel research and save lives. Together, we step up because we’re ready to end the suffering cancer causes. And when we ask, our communities are ready, too. So go ahead: you’ve got this. And we’re here to help.

Teamwork and community

Join up for cures

Prefer to go solo? That’s great! But if a group’s your thing: Obliteride teams are amazing. Last year, more than 80% of participants, including virtual Obliteriders, joined up with other riders, walkers, runners, and volunteers to boost their training, fundraising, and fun.
