Why Fundraise?
When you fundraise, you help cure cancer faster. Every dollar you raise fuels scientific innovation at Fred Hutch Cancer Center, allowing our more than 6,200 researchers, clinicians, and staff to push beyond today's treatments and drive urgently needed advances from the laboratory to the clinic as quickly as possible. With Fred Hutch Obliteride funding, our experts can follow the science where it leads them, pursue their boldest ideas, and work relentlessly to advance discoveries that can help millions of people. With every ask you make, every donation you receive, and every mile you ride, walk, or run, you put your dedication to work. So reach high — you’ve got this. And we’re here to help!
First Stop: Your Personal Fundraising Page
After you register for Obliteride, you’ll get your very own personal fundraising page. This page is your TOP fundraising tool. It’s where you can share your personal reason for being part of Obliteride, ask for and collect donations, and track fundraising progress!
Start by logging in through your Participant Center or the Obliteride app, updating your photo, and sharing WHY you’re fundraising for groundbreaking cancer research. Then, share your page widely and ask your community to support you!
Note: There are other ways people can donate to your Obliteride. Visit our Other Ways to Give page to learn more.
Must-Have Tools for Fundraisers
“Obliteride is a way for me to help others by raising funds for research while doing something I love. I envision each pedal stroke as a punch to cancer, until there’s a cure.”
— Helen Harris, 25-mile rider and cancer survivor

Team Fundraising
Did you know that participants can work together to fulfill their fundraising commitments and extend their goals? If you're on a team, the donations you and your teammates receive count toward your team's collective fundraising minimum — that is, the sum of each team member's individual fundraising minimum. As long as the team meets its collective fundraising minimum by September 30, 2026, everyone on the team will have fulfilled their commitment (and be ready to do even more).
