Do it! It is for a great cause and one of the best-organized events.

Your impact

Every ride fuels lifesaving research

100% of participant-raised dollars support Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. We are funding some of the brightest minds in the world who are relentless in their pursuit to prevent, treat, and cure cancer and other diseases. And we’re just getting started.

Meet your inner fundraiser

You? Fundraise? You bet!

Last year, thousands of people just like you raised millions of dollars, one donation at a time, to fuel research and save lives. Together, we step up because we’re ready to end the suffering cancer causes. And when we ask, our communities are ready, too. So go ahead: you’ve got this. And we’re here to help.

Teamwork and community

Join up for cures

Prefer to ride solo? That’s great! But if a team’s your thing: Obliteride teams are amazing. Last year, more than 80% of our participants joined up with other riders, walkers, runners, and volunteers to boost their training, fundraising, and fun.

Obliteride’s warmth and welcome support is hands down the best on the entire West Coast.

Safety and support

Carefully created Routes

Our family-friendly 5K is on a paved trail open only to foot and bike traffic. Our shared-road bike routes have signage, rest stops, support vehicles, and flaggers and begin with a police escort.

Rest stops and snacks

Bike stops offer snacks, drinks, and support. The 5K stop includes plenty of water and encouragement. Our volunteers and staff make stops a fun and healthy way to recharge.

Route assistance

SAG (support and gear) vehicles help riders on all bike routes. Just flag one down or call the emergency number on your wristband if you need assistance.

Support at every stage

From fundraising to finding the event, we’re here for you. Throughout the season, we stay in touch through emails, Participant Center resources, and more. Questions? Contact info@obliteride.org.

Our thanks to you

Gifts you’ll love and keep

We’re serious about the gifts we give our participants. Every rider receives an Obliteride jersey; a goodie bag filled with collectible socks, a water-bottle, and other great items; food and beverages all weekend; free admission for you and a guest to our Friday Night Kickoff Party; and more.
