FUNDRAISE AS A VOLUNTEER

Each amazing volunteer has the opportunity to fundraise along with Obliteride participants and qualify for some pretty awesome fundraising incentives!

HOW TO FUNDRAISE AS A VOLUNTEER:

STEP 1: SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER


Hop over to Volunteer Registration and get yourself signed up. During Volunteer Registration we will ask you if you would like to fundraise. Select yes and we will also register you as a Fundraising Volunteer, set you up with a personal fundraising page (which can be updated in the Participant Center) and email you your credentials, within 1 week, to get you started fundraising.

Already signed up and now want to fundraise? Email info@obliteride.org with your first and last name le me set up.

STEP 2: CHECK OUT YOUR PARTICIPANT CENTER


Once you receive your Participant Center credentials via email, log in and familiarize yourself with all of the great fundraising resources found within. In your Participant Center you can easily:

  • Update your fundraising goal
  • Customize your personal page with a photo and story about why you are fundraising for Obliteride
  • Share links to your page with family and friends in pre-crafted emails
  • Track your fundraising progress
  • Send pre-crafted thank you emails to your donors

Fundraising Incentives

We highly encourage everyone, including our volunteers, to fundraise. After all, we are raising money for lifesaving cancer research at Fred Hutch. To sweeten the pot, we have incentives for volunteers who fundraise. 
  • $25 = Fred Hutch exclusive shaker bottle
  • $50 = Obliteride Skyline Socks
  • $500 = two tickets to the Friday Night Kickoff Party (see above)
  • $2,000 = Pacesetter benefits
  • $5,000 = High 5 Club benefits
If you reach these fundraising levels by August 6, 2018, your corresponding gift will be available at Volunteer Check-in. If you're a volunteer along the route (i.e. Course Marshal or Rest Stop volunteer), your gift will be mailed to you post fundraising deadline (September 13, 2018).
